For once I applaud trumps stupidity

Man, you guys are being taken to the cleaners by these people. That’s your money spent on protecting; transporting and connecting the President, getting into the coffers on his private business. Using the presidency as one big business advert. Wow.

Mar-a-Lago is a freak show. From the first dinner on the first weekend 2 1/2 years ago with the Japanese Prime Minister where the briefcase with highly confidential materials was placed unattended under the table til now. There are no adults there. All these questions seem rhetorical at best, stupid at worst. Security? Intelligence? Common Sense? Anything? I, for one, am totally fed up.

The last quote from Ms. Turk is hilarious. If I saw _anyone_ at Mar-A-Lago I'd wonder about their ulterior motive. It's set up for influence pedaling. People pay 200K for a reason, and it's not because the edible flowers are so much better than other edible flowers.

Trump is the First Grifter in Chief that the White House has had that truly reeks of Pay for Play in everything he does. Its shocking that Mar a Lago is not shut down for its over the top lack of safety and out and out fraudulent scamming of almost all that enter.

Convert Mar-a-Lago to a national cemetery for American Service men and women killed in the pending war with Iran perpetrated to get Trump reelected.

Only a wanna be dictator would hold court at a private club he owns allowing well heeled members to eavesdrop or look at President Trump's top secret activities ,perhaps take a selfie with our commander in chief or King as he would have it.

The way Trump spills secrets to the Russians makes everything else academic.

Clinton’s emails on a private server are worth years of Republican whining and investigations but there is nothing to see here when Trump repeatedly ignores advice on security.

What a bizarre and gaudy club. What about it could possibly be worth 200K? I don't know Palm Beach, but there must be a classier place to hang out.

Solution is simple. Stay in Washington and do your job, Mr. Trump.

The Secret Service has always done it's utmost to protect each President. Having been to Mar-a-Lago for charity events, I give them a tremendous amount of credit. There are just too many guests on the grounds to be overly vigilant. One wonders why the SS doesn't simply close the club to all visitors when the President or his family are in residence. Not only would it provide a safer environment, but would save the taxpayers a small fortune as every car must be searched, every ID checked against a list and additional agents must be on duty. Sure, DJT may lose a few dollars and a lot of adulation. However, that's his problem, not ours. We are not paying for him to be safe in his money-making ventures. Enough is enough.

@It's About Time Close Mar-a-Lago when Trump is there, what about all the adulation he needs to survive?

"Lisa M. Ruth, a former C.I.A. officer who now runs a private intelligence and security company in Palm Beach County, said the episode was a gaping hole in the president’s security apparatus." Nothing compared to the "gaping hole" in rational governance. If an earthquake hit this place tomorrow, I'd be a happy man.
