As someone who was quoted in the original article, obviously, I am in favor of children being taught cursive. Further, though, I invite everyone interested to download the free white paper published by the American Handwriting Analysis Foundation on the importance of handwriting in a digital age. @Sheila Lowe As always, it’s interesting to see how many of the statements made in that paper, for the purpose of supporting cursive,misrepresent research studies which support handwriting over keyboarding but which found no support for cursive over any of the other forms of our handwriting.
