One reason the Riley huddle image is so timeless is that was likely taken with a fixed lens and composed by the photographer. By contrast many of the other photos in this article are of the "spray and pray" variety. A lot of these photographers wouldn't know what to do if you took their megapixels away. Too hurried, always chimping, never slowing down to think and compose. NBA photography can improve by leaps and bounds. Less court, more soul. Cassy's shot of the Davidson alum at the end of the article is lovely.
