I'm sorry to obsess over a minor detail, but this is becoming ridiculous: Why does every neighborhood in Northeast Queens automatically get labeled as 'Flushing'? Clearly your own map shows this establishment in the very heart of Murray Hill, Queens. Moreover, it seems that this is especially the case if you're an Asian establishment; You are automatically labeled as in Flushing. Seems a tad racist to me... I'd expect this kind of amateur cartography from lesser publications, but not from the New York Times.

@E. F. Boccardi: Before you call racism you should visit the neighborhood in question. The written description of the location is correct; it is Google Maps (amateur cartography?!?!?) that is wrong. Google Maps has no idea of NYC neighborhoods. (The shame is that the Times uses this false indicator rather than a true one.) I grew up in Flushing, and you (and Google) are wrong about Flushing's geographical limits. You seem to think that downtown Flushing is all there is. The REAL Flushing extends as far as Utopia Parkway, where Auburndale begins. "Murray Hill" is a LIRR stop; I'd be surprised if anyone who lives in the area -- except maybe parvenus who want to make it sound more tony (and more expensive) -- thinks of the neighborhood by that name. When I grew up, Flushing was almost totally white. The last time I was there (spring 2018), I went back to my old building (158th Street, a few blocks south of this restaurant) and beyond to 164th Street. There was evidence of the white nabe of my youth -- St. Andrew Avellino is still there, although the church next door to my old homestead is now Korean. But even better were the many, many Asian stores and restaurants along Northern Boulevard and the other shopping streets. I was thrilled to check them out. You should, too. BTW: I understand that Forest Hills is now home to a substantial Asian population. Congratulations! The neighborhood food options will be a lot better than Jahn's.

@E. F. Boccardi Murray Hill is a subsection of Flushing; that map is misleading. Racist? Oh, please.

I live ON the block and visit the restaurant with my teen quite frequently. It is in Flushing, Queens as is our home which is just a few feet away. Google our parish which is right across the street, St. Andrew Avellino. it’s in Flushing, NY. I’ve lived here for 46 years and never once heard Murray Hill used to describe anything except for the LIRR stop 12 blocks west down Northern Blvd- also in Flushing. Some of the local realtors like to refer to our little patch of paradise as North Flushing, but never Murray Hill.

Huge gap in the restaurant business for serving smaller portions. 0.5?
Ed (New York)
@Norah Robb, you obviously have never had an authentic Korean meal. Real Korean dining is about excess and large portions. Koreans do not nibble or peck at their food daintily.
