I appreciate this review and this man's point of view --- that he needed to fit in the world, for himself. Look forward to the book.

Why do people still count calories when there’s so much scientific evidence that a low carb diet is what really works? Changing your diet, rather than engaging in dieting, is long-lasting rather than temporary. And making that new diet one that is low carb changes the way your body processes food, which is a much more thorough fix of the problem. It’s really concerning to see people still talking about going on a calorie-counting diet rather than fundamentally changing their diet to one that is more in line with what humans evolved to eat (meat, vegetables, nuts, fruit).

I haven't read this yet, but it sounds similar to Frank Bruni's "Born Round", which was excellent
