@ Jim When Obama got elected, Fox News and the Koch brothers got busy attacking and smearing him. When Trump got elected, all the late night comedians got busy making jokes about him. Makes you wonder why the different reactions from conservatives and liberals in the face of perceived outrage.

---Does anyone imagine that trump...doesn't cheat while golfing? I find that to be unimaginable. Colbert's joke regarding the title of Christie's book...‘Are You Gonna Finish That?’ Brutal(ly funny)!

I really enjoy this summary of Late Night presented here, but I have a question and a suggestion for the writers: 1. Is there a conservative late night talk show comedy that makes as much fun of Democrats and liberals as the shows highlighted in this column? Or is the right-wing talk show format relegated to angry hosts ranting on radio and having no fun at all? 2. Trump and his buffoons are pretty low-hanging fruit. In order to demonstrate comedic competency all the late night shows should agree to a single night per week or month that is a No-Trump Zone with absolutely no jokes about Trump and his crew. This should keep them in good form for the future when Trump is gone.

The best event that will never happen from The Shutdown is that Trump will shut up and vanish.
