I live in rural Georgia and so am not likely to find the film, unless it pops up on the internet. But I am struck by how articulate and thoughtful Bing Liu is. I'll also search to see if he has written and published anything. There's obviously a novelist and an essayist in this remarkable young man.

@David Goldin The film is a Hulu original, so if you have access to a Hulu subscription you can watch it wherever you are!

I mistakenly attended this film after sitting in the wrong theatre at a film festival (and thinking, wow, this is a long trailer). It wasn't a film I would have chosen to see and it ended up being the best film I saw in the festival. I have told friends, family, colleagues to see it. This week, after its Hulu release, several have and each in turn has told others they have to see it. Compelling, moving, powerful.

This is an excellent film, not an excellent "skate" film. Skateboarding is what keep these friends together over the years, but the story is not about skateboarding. I urge you to see it.
