NY's new Tappan Zee Bridge is 3.1 miles long and cost $4billion. Imagine building something from Boston to Denver, or Atlanta to Vegas, which is the same distance as the length of our southern border.

Where would one go to find the typed version of the podcast for those who are deaf, though still would like to know what is going on?

How is it that no one -- NO ONE -- ever follows the money? It's common parlance to say, "We've wasted trillions in Iraq and Afghanistan," but nobody ever talks about where that money actually went. And where did it go? Not onto foreign soil -- rather mostly into the US military and its civilian contractors. The money largely stayed in our economy through jobs and other economic activity. The question shouldn't be, "Did we waste the money?" It should be, "Is this how we want to spend our money and are these the industries we want to choose as big winners?" However they may choose to state the question, it is long past time for the simple phrase, "We wasted trillions" to be parsed into its real-world components and then have THAT be made part of the conversation.

Excellent podcast this morning, clearly explaining the situation. Thank you!

@Birdygirl Yes agreed. The only thing that bothered me about the podcast was the refererence to American military generals as “Trump’s generals” They are not his generals. In these times, words matter.
