Ming Peiffer: Why Her ‘Usual Girls’ Audiences Got So Personal

I thought this play was appallingly bad. I cannot believe how seriously it's being taken by the NY theatre community. It is bizarrely focused on sex to the exclusion of other far more powerful and profound coming of age issues, especially in relation the being the outsider in American mean girl circles. This play just fails.
