Before jumping to conclusions, the very fact that these accusations made it to the news at all in such a conservative country is a triumph for universal education, human rights, and independent journalism; indicative of the changing face of Afghanistan where these are slowly improving. Sure, there is still a long way to go, but these are only baby steps.
