"But he hasn’t been able to let the cat out of the bag.
'I have a list of all the people that I’ve lied to over the past few months,' he said."
Given the plot of the show, this is great practice for the character having to recalll what lies he told to which people - life imitating the art, and then using it in playing the part.
My favorite theater preparation example before this was Victoria Clark actually taking time to visit Phoenix for a while before playing Sally in "Follies" ("Now folks we bring you direct from Phoenix, live and in person Sally Durant..."). Not that spending a week in Phoenix is a sacrifice, but wonderful research.
But for a teen like Andrew Feldman, who may never have had to even tell people white lies like "the boss isn't here now" while looking at the boos right there, practicing in that harmless way has got to help.

Where is the kid from? Is that not allowed in a profile? Also - using honorifics (Mr. Feldman) for a high schooler is dumb. It's OK to go against policy once in a while.

Compliments of Google. The young man is from Long Island. And why not address him as Mr?I think he's earned it.
