I loved Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis's films and, especially, their relationship to each other. What a magnificent couple they were and so beautiful together. The grace they had in everything they did is to be admired, not only in the film industry and the theater, but in life.

Given their long careers and countless contributions, I understand that it's hard to mention every event of note associated with Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis. But somehow, your failure to mention that they had three children together seems like a glaring omission.

Among other things in a wonderful long life, my late mother told me that during World War II Ruby Dee worked at the Western Electric plant in Bayonne, New Jersey, turning out defense electronics. My mother worked there as an inspector, a civilian employee of the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
