We saw “Downstairs” last week and were in awe of the talent in the Daly siblings! Not fair for even the most tortured moments in both Irene and Teddy to be performed so effortlessly. And Gerry scared the bejeezus out of me! Wow! Not fair...all of that talent in one family!
In his 30s, Tim Daly, in "Wings" stole our hearts during the '90s. Who can forget that iconic serial tv show before the internet and social media took over American minds and values? Good on Tim in his 60s for keeping up with the times and The Times and Tyne Daly, his hat-stealing sib on B'way!
Saw Downstairs last year at Dorset. Just dreadful. “Line!”
Madame Secretary, besides being really smart and having many winning characters, is the perfect show for my wife and I. About halfway into the first season, she let it be known that Henry was quite the dish. That's fair, I thought, given that Tea Leoni looks like no major political figure that i've ever seen. Whoever decided to put her in Frampton or Dead shirts as nightwear is a genius.

My faves: "I'll hit you so hard, I'll kill your whole family." - Billy (Daly) from Diner, dir. Barry Levinson. Nicest dude on set in "Private Practice." Oh, and you and Frances (my mom) and Nancy in "Oliver, Oliver." There, a trifecta: film, tv, theatre. Keep up the good work Tim...

The obvious chemistry between Tim Daly and Téa Leoni makes their show that much more believable and entertaining to watch. They appear perfectly suited for one another both on screen and (apparently) off.

He probably will wince, but we can't see him or his name without conjuring "Wings", that incredibly wonderful sitcom, with an incredibly bouyant and talented cast, that kept us hysterical laughing years ago. He holds a dear spot in our hearts for that work.
Can't go wrong with Tim Day in the spotlight.

So THAT'S who he is! Thanks for the data. Early Happy Thanksgiving.
