There were 3 initiatives on the NYC ballot and I cannot find anything on the NYT reporting on the results!

@N
All three initiatives passed with wide margins.

Can we legalize recreational now ?

What about the NYC Ballot initiatives??

@David
I Googled. I learned, on a blog, that they all passed. Really weird that the results weren't discussed in The New York Times, especially after people were scolded not to forget about them on the ballot.
I'd rather have ballot proposal results than Metropolitan Diary.

They all passed. All are progressive initiatives favored by the Mayor of NYC. Does that explain the lack of info?
Maybe?@David
"just like his father, he has denied that he has presidential ambitions"
There was a column in Alex & Jonathan's first week at NY Today which had such an entertaining view of Mario Cuomo's dithering on whether to enter in that year of Bill Clinton. Already, it felt they'd be carrying on the tradition, but in their own voices, and the team in Feb. 2016 (unlike Mario Cuomo) was off and running! And congrats on an incredible 2 years and 10 months! I know I assumed you guys were sitting there in the Times building bouncing forecast puns and such at 5:30 a.m. like Buddy and Sally (from Dick Van Dyke Show, not Sondheim's Follies). though I guess it just felt that fresh and spontaneous.
Celebrating that 1991 Gov. Cuomo Presidential indecision recollection, when we knew NY Today was in good hands
tune of "Da Doo Ron Ron"
We met him on the tarmac and his plane stood still
Will you run run run, will you run run
Somebody told him that he might beat Bill
Will you run run run, will you run run
Yeah, his plane stood still; yes, he might beat Bill
And til he went back home
Will you run run run, will you run run
We wondered what he’s planning when he met the press
Will you run run-run, will you run run
At first we thought that it might be yes
Will you run run run, will you run run
Yeah, he met the press; yes, it might be yes
And til he left for home
Will you run run run, will you run run
[Bill Clinton sax solo]
(8x) Will you run run run, will you run run

@Freddie, another great one! Thanks!
@Freddie don't forget the hair reports.
After the results of yesterday's elections; with Democrats seizing control of the State Senate and the House, the weather is warmer and brighter indeed...and so is my mood.

Can you add a line about the ballot initiatives? Most articles here, and elsewhere discuss the candidates that won but lots of places, including NY, had ballot initiatives. Those results are important also.

It would have been nice to tell the readers where "NY 19th Congressional District" is.
You assume we all know it, but I don't
You could have saved many people the time by giving that info.
"New York State had nine incumbent House Republicans, out of 27 total House representatives. Yesterday, three of those Republicans lost their seats. The most notable was John J. Faso, a Republican who represented New York’s 19th Congressional District, whom Antonio Delgado defeated. "

@Yudi That would be Syracuse area and some surrounding cities and villages and farms.
