Great work guys! Even though there were thousands of elections and plenty of structural challenges as well as some blatant election rigging to muddy the situation, you guys were somehow able to distill all that information in a span of less than 8 hours into a confident and easily digestible message : Democrats need to be more moderate. Amazing analysis. It’s almost as if you wanted to say that before anything actually happened.

Question: who, in the closing moment of the podcast said, "I don't care that you don't think it makes a difference... People died so that you could go into that goddamn voting booth." I can't place the voice - thanks!

@bg I've been wondering the same thing -- even until this day! I hope The Daily Producers can provide an answer on this.

Yet another great episode. The Daily podcast, as a whole, is expertly done on many levels (rapidly became a favorite). Can someone please help me out and tell me the source of one of the quotes in the short ‘montage’ at the end? It was something like, “I don’t care if you don’t think it makes a difference. People died so you could go into that GD voting booth.” I can’t remember and it’s kind of driving me nuts. Thanks! :)

The Daily yesterday (Nov. 5, 2018) was beautiful. As a midwestern woman who has grown very weary of evangelical Christians, I was moved by the woman you interviewed. Her commitment to the principles of Christianity that expoused kindness, tolerance, and good works inspired me to re-evaluate me own beliefs and commitment to these principles. Her conversation with her father mirrored one I could have had with my own. Your podcast yesterday gave me hope. Thank you.
