Meh. No ... don't think the Halloween reboot really worked for me.
Caught this tonight (at a drive-in, support our drive-ins please), decidedly underwhelmed. Swapping out Laurie the victim for Laurie the well-armed survivalist rendered Michael much less of a threat ultimately -- the killings he accomplishes along the way sort of ... unfocused, random, and worst of all suspenseless.
Not spooky, disappointing. This Michael doesn't cut it.
