Lucia was done well, staging was a bit strange with the snow blowing through the "rain swept" dark Scottish Landscape. Also what were the weird make up stripes doing on the faces of the (great) chorus, matching the costumes? While the singing was fine Lucias acting in the first act was very skittish, almost distracting. Overall a great production. The following evening of "Ne Quittez Pas" was so ghastly that we walked out at intermission, even the first half was unbearably painful and amateurish, --- good voices though ---.

@GB You apparently think your comments will mark you as a person with elevated taste. But to walk out at intermission and skip Patricia Racette's artistry seems to indicate you lack basic curiosity. And if you already knew you don't appreciate "La Voix Humaine," why did you even buy a ticket?
