Please tell readers how this series was altered using Netflix’ collected data and psychological profiling of its subscribers in order to create a more “appealing” addictive experience. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are used by Netflix to manipulate viewers into watching content they want them to watch; now, they have taken a further step by using their predictive knowledge of subscribers’ likes and habits to create content that is addictive right out of the gates. Netflix’ practices are creepy and unethical.

The original, Norwegian series is far superior.

@Alicat This literally premiered a couple hours ago. Have you watched the whole series already to judge?

That is one well written review. Better than the show? I guess I'll have to check it out.

Interesting. I watched the original Norwegian series this is supposed to be based on and this sounds NOTHING like it at all.

Well, I have to say after reading the critic of this Netflix show I guess I am going to have to pass. The trouble with many of the Netflix shows is that many the storylines are so convoluted one has to work too hard to figure out what the heck is going on. Another problem is the 8 to 10 episodes that leave one waiting 9 to 12 months before we see any more of the story that might help make sense of what you have been watching but of course, after the long wait you are completely lost. So why bother at all! I have pretty quit watching material Netflix has put out and going elsewhere for entertainment. There some movies and old TV shows that are good that I watch occasionally. Too bad, Netflix used to be so good.

@Judi Morgan-Fuller The entire 10 episodes are now up and available. Not sure what your beef is. Netflix is well known to put up entire seasons, not like the networks or HBO.

While I have enjoyed Emma Stone's work immensely; I'm just not into these dystopian, sci-fi programs. I'll skip this and watch one of the million programs offered.
