Sorry. This is actually very amateurish and it shows. So many talented "professional" designers and architects out there...

@MG Amateurish? How, please explain. This is not my style at all but I see HIS style and its consistency across rooms. Mr. Guadagnino live with his design. I admire his creativity even if my taste runs to simple designs. I read Architecture Digest, design magazines the internet marketing trolls send my way, and the NYT columns on house design from the "Professionals" and most of the time I am appalled at the "overstuffiness", the "over decored", the instagram ready but apparent complete lack of understanding about how people actually live. Those advocating minimalism do not fare better. I once went into a large Hillsborough house (California) choke full of "art work" From the entrance on I had a weird feeling - I figured out later that all the art work (some of which patinated plaster to look like bronze, I guess ready to be chucked at the next remodeling...) had been chosen by professional interior designers to project what? culture? savviness?- not by the owner "coup de foudre" during their travels or visit to Galleries or art faires. The result was a house with no soul and for me, existential malaise.

Well, his view of the lake is beautiful.

Fantastic! ... every room an interior design art installation. Mr. Guadagnino's interior designs ... shall we say - "A Star Is Born" Mr. Bourne's photo image design, what a delight!

Wow, sorry... but this is flat-out hideous. I realize it might be a matter of taste and hommage to certain decades etc., but there is not a single element in there that I can agree with, be it esthetically or functionally. If this is a debut, it's also a good opportunity to stop and move on to something else...

That is one ugly house

The last photo in the slideshow of the Luca Guadagnino Dream House, is a photo of Lake Como. This photo is stunning. As for the other photos, one wonders how it would be possible to live in a space that looks like an executive airport lounge complete with brightly colored plastic cabinets. Perhaps Mr. Guadagnino has spent so much time flying that he's be effected by airport decor. In any case, as I said, Lake Como is beautiful, so thank you for that photo.
