ONLY 10 COMMENTS HERE! Thousands of comments on Trump and our comparatively minor problems here in the United States. I have been reading about the recent attacks - and the reporting by these brave reporters is excellent - and can barely turn the page. This attack was especially heart rending to read, as was the story written yesterday, the day before, the day before that. These poor, poor people! The US and other coalition forces must maintain a presence to help these people, and prevent as far as is possible these attacks!!

Their blood is on the hand of CIA and the POTUSA, they are have created this situation by illegal invasion. It's CIA and it's secondary Arms that finance and support both Taliban and ISIS in the whole area to justify their illegal presence in Afghanistan. There will be just for all of these and other innocent people. Maybe not in this world, but in the other world.

Until we can grow beyond our superstitions, our fears, our tribalism, the questions to be asked of, and unanswerable by the terrorist who did this: Are you satisfied now? Killing the innocent who would improve their lives and the life of your country, instead of being held in the thrall of ignorance, however beautifully packaged, this really gives you meaning, eh? And for what? More lives lost for no good reason, who now have their five minutes of fame on the Internet, until they are replaced by the next round of victims, from wherever in the world. @Patrick The question should be asked from the POTUSA and CIA who finance and supports Taliban and ISIS for their hidden dirty agenda to justify their presence in the very unique geopolitical area of Asia called Afghanistan.

Most relevant question here is that who is funding ISIS. Those who are funding such slaughter, what aim do they want to achieve ? Who stands to benefit by keeping the Afghan nation illitrate & impoverished? Are there any rare earth minerals being quietly whisked away from Afghan soil ? Are there any multi national companies involved? Sometimes asking the right questions lead to right answers.

My heart breaks to think that a child can be convinced to murder his classmates. Or to murder anyone. This is about extreme Islam and until the world recognizes that it cannot negotiate with extremism and insanity, it will continue.

All the girls on the billboard are "anonymous". Just a graphic of a headscarf, no faces...

This was all done in the name of a hyper-orthodox faith. The problem is not Islam in particular- it is any intolerant group that think they are the one true faith in whatever god(s). So sad that this late in the history of humankind, we are being held back by religious belief, superstition and zealotry.

Devastating story. I am so sorry for these families' loss.

Young people die because they wish to be educated and improve their families’ lives. Children and parents are caged and separated from one another because they seek a chance for a peaceful life. Our waters and air are once again being polluted, threatening the future of all our children. Devastating. God is weeping.

What words can even describe the anguish and the suffering this article tells of? The madness and the stupidity of killing for killing's sake. How much heartbreak can we read and watch and not succumb to numbness? Could the United States do more (or anything) to counteract these merciless deeds?
