And Ronald Reagan thought LA’s infamous air pollution was just just fog from the ocean! We later found out that Reagan and his team were hiding the fact that he had dementia. Perhaps this is also true of Trump.

What about the impact of housing crisis-driven migration of middle and working class residents away from out-of-control-expensive cities, where even renting has become out of reach due to many cities having lax, or no, rent control ordinances and CA’s statewide ban on rent control laws for residential units built since 1985 (more than 30 years - a full generation and a half - ago!)? Californians desperately need to vote for Prop 10 in November. It repeals the harmful Costa-Hawkins Act that greatly contributes to many of California’s and its cities’ struggles.

As someone who was assaulted by a driver several years ago while riding my bike, I certainly hope that the City of Los Angeles and other So Cal cities will work to create a better and safer spaces for bike riders. That incident will haunt me, and I’ve yet to really ride again since then, especially not on city streets. If it takes a celebrity to make it happen, so be it. It’s a sad fact of LA life that celebrities are the best way to get things heard or done around here.

I'm reading the N.Y. times this morning from Oceanside instead of Napa Valley, losing my job as a tour guide last October... LETS not waste our resources and print.. stop analyzing with expert's what trump tweets, we still have 3 months of fire season.. We need federal $ and out of state firefighters.. trump needs to keep to what he knows ???? fire storms maybe I'm wrong...

With over 300k acres on fire and fires around the world currently burning, there should be a secondary effect of dust in upper atmosphere which like a volcano blowing it plume would then cool the earth also. Anyone looking at this at NOAA? Even the El Niño effect is iffy now and we could phase into a La Niña instead?
