Soloski's review is accurate but it's also way too kind to everyone involved, particularly the playwright and the director. That The Public staged it at all is shocking, considering they must have had workshops which undoubtedly made its shortcomings plain to see. My companion turned to me when it ended and whispered "...you owe me!" And I agreed with him. It's 100-minutes of your life you can never have back.

I saw this early in previews. I for one wanted a little more emphasis on the Dreamland history, rather than this not particularly interesting boy meets girl scenario. I was debating going back if the review indicated that they shifted the emphasis, but it seems not.
