This is another stunning way to look at the Black Lives Matter movement. The distilled issues in a Greek tragedy bring a poignant message home with excellent craft in acting, dance, and design.
This review does not come close to depicting the magic of this production. From the stellar casting, direction and set design to the musical score that accompanies a very old tale in the contemporary setting of a gentrifying Harlem. As always, CTH delivers and proudly declares despite the dystopian tragedy of Thebes that Black Harlem is here to stay.

CTH's summer productions keep getting better and better. It's a highlight of my summer to attend their plays in Mt. Morris Park.
Striking in performance, acting, staging and setting. Bravo CTH!
