And a further comment on why I like this article is that for working slobs like us, the article is not about the high finances of UFEA or some alfa-soup organization, but the gritty basic aspirations of normal people, not the financial rules and regulations & league sanctions of PSG for its financial mumbo jumbo because of its ties w/ some oil rich controversy country (Probably with a few oligarchs, which although numerous, there are much fewer than “normal citizens of the world”)

Not being a futbol (crazed) fan, but having a definitely Eurocentric bent, I find this article fits my bill perfectly; Geo politics and a sport that I’ve learned to appreciate since (Having participated in a community watching of a football game in the south of France during World Cup ‘86) it is not American football with its attendant head smashing &.... This is very satisfying.
