We need to hear these operas. If you really love opera you should hear them. That is the only way you can say you dislike one or not. Rejecting beforehand because their composers and librettists are little known is negate oneself the artistic and intelectual journey and maybe find the hidden beauty and teaching that one can get of the least expected source. This it's the same for the old and the new composers. Try to hear and enrich your mind.
