It's not an 'impossible choice'; it's a clear choice.
Rosenstein just sold the Justice Department out. I admit he's under tremendous pressure. Still, he needed to set limits with the President.
There's nothing wrong with Rosenstein deciding to look into the informant situation. But even so, should have publicly stated it is improper for the President to order such an inquiry, one which involves an open investigation into Trump himself.
And it's plain wrong for Rosenstein to have released that information. He shouldn't have caved.
