I know the actual "milquetoast mother" that is being parodied at the beginning of this episode. What is funny is that I doubt she ever finds out that Atlanta made fun of her as I don't think her or anyone around her would ever watch Atlanta. It blew my mind seeing Glover and company making fun of someone I know! I'm sure not going to tell her just so that whole drama show can start up again.

Maybe the writer missed the point of the episode; regardless of Earn's spending proclivities, he spent the episode being robbed and this is the series's "Robbin' Season."

Season 2 lacks the great writing, charm and humor of Season 1. Nobody wants to watch a show just to see 'the tiring grind of it all.'
