When I saw the name of the narrator ...i listened to it. Then the interview at the end brought me joy, because I read the book “ when breath becomes air”. I was so happy because somehow I’ve been wondering on what happened to the doctor’s widow !! Wish the new couple all the best !!

This is both touching and remarkable. Kate was well chosen to narrate such a moving story. Something so simple has so much meaning in it. I also really enjoyed the interviews after. I hope to hear more of these podcasts, but I will have tissue handy. This is one of my favorite sections of the NYT.
