Bald Eagles regularly migrate over Central Park and I've seen several of them in fall, mostly late Sept-early Oct, but they rarely if ever touch down. Back when there used to be an informal hawk watch at the top of Belvedere Castle the sightings used to be more frequent.

Jets beat the Rangers? That's crazy. At least one New York team won yesterday.

The fact that the sighting of a bald eagle makes the news says more about the livability of NYC than anything else.

Thank you for your contribution.

A friend found this a little protest-y, but what the heck?

Tune of “My Country Tis of Thee”

Our city, N-Y-C
And ornithology
Of you I read

Town where the eagle-eyed
Can spot that bird with pride
Don’t spread that pesticide
Let eagles breed

I'm of the wrong generation to recognize the songs you usually parody, but I do know this one and the parody is very clever. Thank you for an early morning chuckle of recognition (and agreement).
